Introductory Blog

I love writing, music, the quantum field, human potential, and of course, a good homemade arepa (yes, made by me). If you haven’t tried arepas yet… what are you even doing? Don’t worry, I’ve got you covered. Scroll down for the best spot in town.

I was born in Venezuela, spent some time in New York, and eventually moved to Los Angeles. I grew up surrounded by spirituality and creativity, which naturally led me to explore life beneath the surface. I didn’t just leave Venezuela because of the political situation but my health was falling apart, and I needed to survive. So I packed up and moved to LA.

Birds flying over a big full moon, amid fog.
"Feathers shall rise men even as they do birds, toward heaven; that is by letter written with their quills." - Leonardo Da Vinci.

I believe life is meant to be enjoyed, not someday, but now. And real joy begins when we free ourselves. Not just from society’s noise, but from the stories we quietly tell ourselves. Especially the ones hiding in our subconscious.

Most of us have been conditioned to believe we’re victims of our circumstances. But I believe we’re the creators of our reality. And that belief changed everything for me. Yes, my health issues in Venezuela were partly tied to systemic dysfunction. And yes, I blamed the government. I blamed my ex. I blamed life. But blame drained me. It kept me stuck. Eventually, I realized I was rehearsing the same story every day. So I asked: What am I done believing? What am I ready to believe instead? That internal shift was the start of my healing.

If you’re into all things body, mind, and soul—from meditation and energy work to music, fitness, creativity, and becoming your best self on a cellular (and spiritual) level, then maybe this is your zone too.

P.S. If you’re in LA, especially near Pasadena, go to Amara Café. They serve the most authentic Venezuelan food I’ve had in the area. Start with the arepa pelúa. A classic. Thank me later. 😉
